Traveling Information

Traveling West

West on Highway 101 you must pass three exits for Sequim. We are one half mile past (continue on 101) the River Road (third and final Sequim exit). Cross the river and exit on the north side of Highway 101 (right side) after passing Gilbert Rd. Our sign is visible on the right and our office is located at the entrance of the park.    Stop  at  the  stop  sign  and  go  to  office  to  register  and  get  needed  information  for  the  park  guests.

Traveling Eastward

East on Highway 101 Rainbow’s End is 14 miles east of Port Angeles.

A major traffic light (intersection of 101 and Carlsborg/Hooker Rd.) is located 1/2 mile east of our location. The highway is divided here so you will need to drive past Rainbow’s End and make a U Turn at the well marked area just a few hundred yards past us at Taylor Cut-Off Rd. (you will see a Mobil Station on the SE corner).

Alternatively large rigs might consider using the River Rd. exit ramp, and then making an immediate re-entry onto the highway  101..

Other

Public and private bus service is available on the Olympic Peninsula.

Ferry service for both foot and vehicular traffic connects Port Angeles to Victoria Canada, Pt.Townsend to Whidbey Island, Kingston to Edmunds, and Bainbridge Island to downtown Seattle.

Amtrak service to points north and south is available from Seattle or Edmunds.  Air Service to and from Port Angeles may be available soon.
